China's marine equipment trading turned out to have slightly decreased in January 2012.
According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs of China, during January, marine equipment trading dropped to $518m, down by 2.9% year-on-year, of which export declined by 0.7% to $221m.
Since June 2011, China's marine equipment export has steadily remained at around $210m-240m.
Meanwhile, its import during the same month stood at $297m, down by 33.9% y-o-y, which recorded the lowest since February last year.
