South Korea's Hyundai Heavy Industries and SK Telecom completed joint development of company mobile integrated security solution 'Smart Security', announced SKT on April 9.
Smart Security would be applied to Hyundai's 1,000-some smart phones and tablet PCs by the coming month.
The security solution blocks any information spill which can be occur during operation, from vessel construction to after-sales services.
Its core smart device security management (SSM) would delete data or lock up the smart phone when it gets lost or stolen. Also, unvaccinated devices would be installed vaccine programs or periodically examined.
Moreover, Smart Security can protect company's secrets by controlling harmful applications which access to a microphone during a call over the phone.
Vice president Hwang Si-Young, Hyundai said, "Mobile security is very important to make a Smart Work environment at the yard. With co-developed mobile integrated security solution, we would reduce risks regarding mobile security and build up a global best Smart yard."
