France's Technip saw its profits climb in the third quarter of the year while its order backlog hit a record high.
The engineering company posted a net profit of EUR 146m for the three months to 30 September, up 20.9% year-on-year.
Revenue also jumped 23.5% to EUR 2.1bn. Subsea segment generated nearly EUR 1.1bn, up 42.5%. Onshore/offshore segment also posted a 7.1% rise in revenue at around EUR 1bn.
At the end of the quarter the company's order backlog totaled EUR 13.5bn, of which EUR 6.1bn was for subsea segment.
