Vietnam's shipbuilder Vinashin saw its income plummet 71% y-o-y in first nine months of this year.
The state-run shipyard's revenues plunged to VND 1.48trn ($70m) in the first three quarters of 2012.
Production value stood at VND 2.62trn during the same period, falling by 50% year-on-year.
The company completed and delivered eight ships and barges worth around $55m in the nine months.
